Local elections MATTER, so much more than most people think. The mayor and city council members you elect directly impact your everyday life: how our city grows, how traffic is handled, what gets built and WHEN, how parks and schools are supported and SO MUCH MORE.
Your everyday life.
It's impacted.
So, yes, the municipal elections on August 26 are a big deal, and you should not only vote but also show up to the polls educated!
So, we want to help get you prepped! That's why the Madison Chamber of Commerce and All Things Madison are teaming up to host the Candidate Connection Reception & Forum, and you're invited!
We'll kick off with a fast-paced, relevant forum on hot-button issues, followed by a casual reception at which you can personally meet the candidates running for mayor and city council. There won't be any campaign shirts, signs, materials, etc., but just neighbors meeting neighbors and hearing how they want to improve the city.

We believe that it would be wild to show up on election day wondering who is on the ballot. Show up, get to know the people who want to lead our city, and participate in the process because this is our home and we love our city!
