  • About

For over 40 years, the Madison Street Festival has been uniting the community in Historic Downtown Madison with a collection of arts and crafts, entertainment, children’s activities, music, exhibits, vendor booths, festival food, a parade, and more! This annual festival, a local favorite that welcomes over 37,000 attendees to historic downtown Madison, is an event to look forward to on the first Saturday in October.

Thanks to our sponsors, vendors, and donations, there is no admission charge to the Madison Street Festival, and activities are free. After the festival is complete, MSF takes all the profits after hosting the event, the start-up cost for the next year’s festival, and gives the balance of money back to our community.

Our Mission as a 501c3 all-volunteer non-profit is to support students of all ages and abilities by providing access to education and educational programs. We accomplish this each year through our grant program.
